Youth Friendsgiving Dinner

We had an amazing Youth Friendsgiving Dinner at the Dialogue Institute Dallas with refugees and young immigrants.

In partnership with the City of Dallas Welcoming Communities & Immigrant Affairs Office and the International Rescue Committee, we had the wonderful privilege of hosting immigrant and refugee high school students at the Dialogue institute Dallas for an amazing Youth Friendsgiving Dinner.

We had inspiring conversations and fun activities with over sixty future leaders over a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Many different languages were spoken including Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Farsi, Dari, Rohingya, Turkish, and enjoyed new friendships as the common language of hearts. Diversity is a blessed fact; inclusion is a choice! It was great to provide a space and cherish the diversity and inclusive community of this wonderful country.
