Ramona Logan - Former award-winning TV anchor/reporter & Author Ramona Logan is a former award-winning TV anchor/reporter who worked at NBC5-TV in Dallas, TX., KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, OK., and KAKE-TV in Wichita, KS during her career. She won more than two-dozen journalistic awards including the National Headliner Award. Most recently, Ms. Logan retired as Communications Manager for Dallas Black Dance Theatre, the ninth largest contemporary dance company in the nation, after being an award-winning public relations strategist and running her own PR consulting firm. She was honored with the National Association of Black Journalists Media Professional Award. Ms. Logan self-published a woman’s devotional, The Beauty of Grace: Pearls of Wisdom for Beauty from the Inside Out, in 2008. She is an active member of SCBWI and Writer’s Block Inc. As a journalist Ms. Logan donated countless hours, giving motivational speeches to students from elementary school through college. Ms. Logan earned her B.A. degree in Journalism from Wichita State University.

Kim Quirk - the president and CEO of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce Kim Quirk is the president and CEO of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and also the executive director of Leadership Richardson, currently leading her ninth class. Prior to joining the chamber, Kim was a managing director at Sunwest Communications where she provided public affairs, PR and crisis communications to a variety of clients including the company’s longest tenured.  Kim was previously with Texas Instruments in both communications and public affairs and managed TI’s philanthropic efforts. She was part of the team that built RFAB in Richardson. Additionally, she held a variety of positions at Raytheon. Kim was on the board of trustees for the Richardson Independent School District for nine years, serving five terms as president. Over the course of her career, she has been on more than 20 boards and has provided counsel, strategic planning and leadership development to numerous others. For the city, she served on the Charter Review Commission and as vice chair of both the Cultural Arts Commission and the Civil Service Board. Kim is a graduate of Leadership Richardson (Class 22), Leadership Dallas (2002) and Leadership Texas Association of School Boards (2008). She grew up and attended schools in Richardson and received her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University. She and husband Joe live in Richardson and are the proud parents of two RISD graduates.

Nita Patel - Artist, Entrepreneur & Author

Nita Patel is pursuing her mission of Healing the World Through Art.

She has shown her work at prestigious galleries around the world, including at Le Louvre in Paris. Through her studies at Harvard in Industrial-Organizational Psychology she integrated her passion and professional development, merging creative expression with wellness in the workplace.  She educates leaders on art and color therapy, while taking the opportunity to place her art in spaces benefiting it’s environment.

Nita Patel spent 23 years in various technology and business leadership roles prior to pursuing her creative passion. She is a 12x’s best selling author and speaker with a focus to personal development.

Dr. Zehra Tekin - an assistant professor of Endocrinology, Diabates and Metabolism at UT Southwestern Dr. Zehra  is an assistant professor of Endocrinology, Diabates and Metabolism at UT Southwestern. She is triple board certified, with an additional specialty in the field of Obesity Medicine. She has a passion for mentoring medical students, international medical graduates, residents and fellows through their education and in their career planning.
